Nearby Attractions
Located in the heart of Paris, Île Saint-Louis is one of two natural islands on the Seine River, connected to the mainland by bridges. Largely a residential neighborhood, there are nonetheless numerous exceptional sites within a short distance, along with myriad shops and restaurants to enjoy. Glâces Berthillon, with some of the best ice cream in Paris, is just down the street. Historically reknowned destinations such as the Notre Dame de Paris, Sainte-Chapelle, the Hôtel de Ville, the Place des Vosges, the Louvre, the Musée d'Orsay and the Centre Georges Pompidou are all within walking distance, as are such lively areas as the Latin Quarter, Boulevard St. Germain and the Marais, and the lovely Jardin des Plantes and the Jardin du Luxembourg.
