Description
Located in the elegant Rue Cler neighborhood a few blocks from Champ de Mars and the Eiffel Tower, this 915 square foot apartment offers convenience and cozy luxury in a highly desirable Parisian neighborhood. Although surrounded by busy streets with lots to see and do, the apartment is located on a quiet street in a small 1930’s period Art Deco building on the 2nd floor, with elevator. There are only two apartments per floor.
Accommodating six, the apartment offers comfortable space in which to relax, dine, cook, entertain, and really “live” in Paris. There are hardwood floors throughout, tasteful décor, and two decorative marble-faced fireplaces. From the spacious entry, one can directly access the living room, separate dining room and well-equipped kitchen. The living room has three tall windows on the street side, two comfortable sofas (one folds out to a bed sleeping two), several occasional chairs and a TV set. The adjacent dining room has a table seating six. The modern kitchen features a window facing the courtyard, dishwasher, refrigerator, range and microwave. General amenities include phone with voice mail, two cable TVs, DVD player, stereo, washer and dryer, and a high-speed Internet connection.
Down the private hallway, one of the two bedrooms has a queen size bed, closet, desk, TV, and small sitting alcove with window overlooking the courtyard. The bathroom is conveniently located between the two bedrooms: tile floor and walls, bathtub with glass shower enclosure and sink. Separate toilet. The second, larger bedroom has a fireplace, window facing the courtyard, two closets, and a king size bed which can be made up as two single beds.
Nearby Attractions
Situated on Rue Duvivier, between Rue de Grenelle and Avenue de la Motte-Picquet, just east of "Champ de Mars", this apartment is within a few blocks of Musee Rodin, the Seine, the huge gilded dome of the Invalides, Napoleon’s tomb, and the Eiffel Tower with its wonderful gardens, playground, and night spectacles. This quartier is filled with charming shops to browse, wonderful small restaurants and cafes, and architecturally beautiful streets. It is located parallel to the best block of the deservedly famous market street– rue Cler. Here you’ll find markets with quality produce, meats, and cheeses, fresh baked breads, and many shops with fine wines, chocolates, pastries, and other specialty items. This centrally located neighborhood is “kid-friendly”, with several large open spaces and playgrounds nearby. One has a choice of near-by bridges leading to the right bank and the Champs Elysees.
