Luminous and pleasant, this one-bedroom flat is located on the 7th floor of a well-maintained contemporary building across the street from Parc René Le Gall. Guests will find much to love about this undersung yet vibrant area of Paris. The 13th arrondissement is full of hidden charms!

A large elevator brings you directly to the top floor apartment. The entry opens to the kitchen, livingroom and adjacent diningroom, and a hallway leading to the bedroom and bathrooms. All of the main rooms have access to a full length balcony overlooking the verdant square. Simple yet attractive furnishings include two matching sofas in the livingroom, one of which converts to a quality double bed, occasional chairs and an antique chest of drawers. Floor to ceiling drapes allow for a relaxed environment day and night. In the adjacent dining area there is a table for six, rolling cart with flatscreen TV, and bookshelves stocked mainly with English books.

Done in restful pale blue, the bedroom has a queen bed, dresser and desk. Open the door for fresh air, natural light and views of the treetops. The kitchen is fully equipped: double stainless sink, full-size refrigerator-freezer, four burner electric stove with oven, dishwasher and small appliances. Door opens to the balcony.

Accessed from the hallway, the bathroom includes a tub with handheld shower and sink. It holds a washing machine and a drying rack, no dryer and no toilet. A second bathroom with shower cabin and sink and one independent toilet are also accessed from the hallway.

General Location Map

My husband and I rented the "Gobelins"'apartment in May 2014 and really enjoyed it. On a beautiful Sunday afternoon we took a great walking tour of the Parc Le Gall and Butte aux Cailles neighborhood. T. H.  Oregon

We loved this apartment -- the most comfortable, spacious, light and well situated -- of any we've rented in Paris. The neighborhood was new to us and we enjoyed exploring it and finding places we liked, also using both Metro (6 and 7 lines) and bus to get to other places. Great being across from Square Rene Le Gall and high enough to enjoy the skyline, including Val de Grace, Tour Montparnasse and even the top of the sparkling Eiffel Tower! The apartment is unusually well equipped and nicely furnished with prints on the walls that we night have chosen ourselves. I will happily stay here another time, if the opportunity presents itself.Jonis & Charles D, Seattle, WA. Oct 2014
