Description
This petite studio, in the heart of the vibrant Marais neighborhood, offers comfortable and convenient accomodation for two at an affordable price. Located on the fourth floor of a 17th-century building (sorry, no elevator), the apartment has been entirely renovated. Double-glazed windows keep the space cozy and quiet, while dark faux-parquet floors and simple, stylish furnishings and new fixtures create an attractive, uncluttered décor.
In the kitchen there is a microwave, grill, hot plate with two burners, and refrigerator, as well as basic cooking utensils. The double sofa bed is comfortable and of good quality; a standing portable closet offers room for your belongings. TV includes basic cable, and wireless broadband internet is also available. The tiled bathroom has a stall shower with hand-held showerhead.
Nearby Attractions
The Marais district is a bustling area with trendy shops, great restaurants, specialty food stores, cafés, museums, galleries, antique shops and historic buildings. From the apartment, the Picasso Museum is a four block walk and the Pompidou Center is two blocks in the opposite direction. If shopping is your love, the cutting edge shops in the rue des Franc Bourgeois are around the next corner. Les Halles shopping district is just across rue Beaubourg. On rue Rambuteau, a two minute walk, all the food Paris is famous for can be found in a single block: A boulanger artisanal for your bread and pastries, traiteurs for those amazing sausages and patés, and one of the few remaining poissoniers featuring fresh fish and oysters. There is also a great wine shop and a quality chocolaterie, right in the neighborhood.
