Description
Located within a stone's throw of popular streets rue de Turenne and rue de Bretagne in the wonderful Marais quarter is this quiet top floor apartment, equipped with all the basics to give you a proper home base while you explore the City of Lights. The space is pleasant and bright, with a nice cross current and the classic charm of the Parisian rooftop view.
The apartment opens to a long corridor; to the left of the front door is a full bath with handheld shower, tub, bidet, toilet and pedestal sink. Sloped skylights offer ventilation and natural light. Next door, the bedroom also benefits from a large double paned window. Double bed and built in shelves with lots of books and magazines for guests! At the end of the corridor is the main living area with a
high quality sofa bed, coffee table, occasional chairs, and small table. Two large French windows open to tiny balconies and allow for lots of light and a pleasant cross breeze when it gets hot in Paris.

Spanning one end of the main area is an open kitchen, equipped with plenty of utensils and small appliances as well as a washing machine, microwave/conventional oven, dishwasher, four-burner stove with three gas and one electric burner, and full sized refrigerator.
Nearby Attractions
The apartment is in a well-served area of the Marais, just off Rue de Turenne, within easy walking distance to the Picasso museum, Centre Pompidou, Place des Vosges, Musée Carnavalet. This part of the Marais is perfect for exploring on foot, with some of the best window shopping in Paris. Within blocks you'll find great restaurants, galleries, boutiques and markets, as well as historic mansions and charming tucked-away squares and courtyards.
Two métro stops are located within less than five blocks.

We loved the apartment on rue Froissart. It was so quiet and cozy, and so well-laid out and furnished, that it was a pleasure to “come home” every evening to our own temporary corner of Paris. It also was a pleasure to visit the many nearby food shops—and a challenge to limit our purchases to what we could actually eat from all the delights available!

The location was very good: near food, great for exploring the Northern Marais, convenient to the métro to get to other areas of Paris.
One of the best parts of the apartment was looking out the window on the rooftops of Paris... we saw a breathtaking full moon the first night through the large bright windows and then the next afternoon, brilliant blue sky. The first night it was late and I was tired and hungry, so I went to the bistro at the corner, had a lovely omelette, salade and some wine. It was perfect for a woman traveling alone.
