With a pleasing blend of traditional and contemporary styles, this spacious 1075 square foot apartment is on the French 6th floor of a classy 100-year-old Hausmann-style building with elevator. It is in the heart of one of the best shopping, restaurant and museum neighborhoods of Paris.
The small entry leads to a sunny sitting room with classic full-height wood wainscoting, hardwood floors, and south-facing windows that open to an enclosed, quiet courtyard. It is furnished with two armchairs and a classy brick-colored Pascal Mourgue sofa that doubles as a comfortable bed (130cm wide). The modern kitchen, accessed from the entry, is equipped with attractive blue and gray cabinets, full size refrigerator/freezer, a two-burner ceramic cook top, combination microwave /traditional oven, dishwasher, electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster, cookware, dishes, flatwar, iron and ironing board. A charming round window allows views from the kitchen to the dining area with seating for six. A convenient guest toilet with washbasin is situated near the entry.
The master bedroom and the independent full bathroom are at the far end of the apartment. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, storage cabinets, and built-in closets. Besides a tub with hand-held shower, the bathroom has a shower stall, washbasin, wood cabinets, and toilet. The den/second bedroom features a high quality BEO 6000 Stereo and Television system and a sofa-bed. There is a washer/dryer in a closet between the main bedroom and bathroom.

Located in a 100-year-old building near La Madeleine church, the aparment is a 5-minute walk to the elegant shops on Rue St Honoré, and a less than 10-minute walk along Rue Royale, to Place de la Concorde, the Seine and its spectacular bridges. The Champs-Elysées Avenue will be to your right when facing the river, les Tuileries Garden and Le Louvre on your left. The spectacular Assemblée Nationale, Musée d’Orsay and Les Invalides Esplanade are across Pont de la Concorde.

Notre voyage , c'est magnifique. The apartment was lovely, Paris is incredible. Rue de Castellane was a perfect location for us. The street itself is delightful. Here we are, surrounded with art, architecture, culture, and the nicest people anywhere. What more could we have asked for?
