Description
Located on the top floor of a 17th century building, this delightful and distinctive studio apartment features spectacular city views from a private rooftop terrace. Fully restored by an architect specializing in high-end design, Rue de Seine Studio offers all the comforts of home, in the center of Paris' beloved St. Germain-des-Prés.
Entering the building from Rue de Seine, guests ascend one flight of steps to an elevator. Once at the fourth floor, a slim spiral staircase gives access to the top floor unit. A large room bordered by windows with exquisite rooftops views, the studio is comprised of a comfortable sitting area, kitchenette, private full bath and sleeping cove. To the right of the entry, a discreet ladder-like staircase leads to the spacious private terrace, equipped for dining and relaxing. From here, one can enjoy views of the animated rue de Seine and rue de Buci junction, the gilded Dôme de L’Institut (Académie Française) and, in the distance, the Eiffel Tower and Sacré-Coeur basilica. Guests will experience the wonderful sensation of being "on top of it all", right in the heart of the world's most romantic city.
The apartment's relaxing, cozy atmosphere makes it the perfect nest for a first or repeat honeymoon or anniversary. The sitting area is furnished with a comfortable sofa bed, attractive chairs, and coffee table. Rich red hues int he drapery and upholstery complement the hardwoods and exposed beams. Unique sloped ceilings and excellent recessed lighting is found throughout.
In the bright and well-equipped kitchenette, there is a dishwasher, ceramic cook top, combination microwave/conventional oven, half size refrigerator/freezer, and electric coffee maker. Three dormer windows, one in the bedroom and two in the main room, have exterior and interior canvas blinds for sun control. Television with English language channels. A combination washer/dryer is set up in a closet near the entrance.
The sleeping area off the main room has a high-quality queen size bed with new linens. Large closet.
Refinished in gleaming white tile, the bathroom is bright, well lit and completely updated, with a spacious stall shower, bidet and heated towel rack. Linens provided. Electric air conditioning and heat. Phone calls restricted to local calls and landlines.

Our stay at Rue de Seine in August was nothing short of wonderful. The location was perfect and the greeting we received when we arrived was very cheerful, courteous, and helpful. The upstairs patio was a real treat. We will definitely recommend your service to our friends, and you will definitely be in our plans for our next visit to that unique and fabulous city that is Paris.
