Don't miss the great outdoor market, held twice a week just a short walk down the hill. There is convenient food shopping a few doors away and a choice of several excellent bakeries within a block. The windows on the street side provide entertaining glimpses of people crossing rue des Ecoles on their way to work or school.

The location was perfect for us, as we felt completely comfortable with the area. The central location for Metro and the open markets and all other needs were excellent. We felt very comfortable walking around at night, just seeing the sights. Pizza Roma is heaven. We walked home from the Louvre, and many sights as they were close. The information at the apartment in the folder was also very helpful as I didn't need to inquire for the information as you had it already there.
