Description
This bright and cozy apartment is located on the 5th floor of an elegant building in the heart of the Latin Quarter. Facing east, the spacious living room has two sets of French doors that open onto a full-length balcony, providing wonderful light throughout the day and views of both the Pantheon and the steeples of Notre-Dame cathedral. The room is comfortably furnished with leather chairs and a sofa that folds out to a queen-sized bed, while the adjacent dining room area has a table seating six. Sunlight in the afternoon and evening pours into the kitchen and bedroom which both have windows to the courtyard facing west.
Well equipped for those who love to cook and entertain, the well-lit kitchen is furnished with a new stove and half-size refrigerator.
In the bedroom there is a queen-sized bed, large armoire, small table and chair. Tall French doors open to the quiet courtyard below. The small bathroom has a nice-sized shower.
Nearby Attractions
Rue des Carmes starts one block south of the magnificent Pantheon and runs down to the Boulevard Saint Germain. Here there are countless things to do and explore: The medieval art collection at the Musée de Cluny, the gothic beauty of L'Eglise St. Severin, or the myriad cafés, bookstores and shops that line the Boulevard St. Michel a few blocks to the west and Boulevard Saint-Germain just to the north. There is an open-air market on Boulevard Saint-Germain at Place Maubert three times a week. La Sorbonne is within a minute's walk.
