Description
Bright, airy and full of character, this three-bedroom apartment retains its "vieux Paris” atmosphere with original parquet floors, high ceilings and quality antique furnishings. Located on the fifth floor of a late-19th century building, its 2,000+ square feet have been completely updated. A charming, well-maintained period elevator accesses the apartment. The living room, dining room and all three bedrooms have French doors opening to a balcony the length of the apartment, from which guests can enjoy superb views, day and night, of the street going up to the Montmartre neighborhood and Sacré-Coeur basilica.
Classically styled, the sitting room features a carved stone fireplace (sorry, just decorative!), built-in bookshelves, comfortable sofas, and several antique occasional chairs and tables. Adjacent to this room is the bright formal dining room, seating up to eight. The huge kitchen has been entirely updated, equipped with built-in cabinets, refrigerator-freezer, a combination gas/electric range, full-sized oven, and microwave. Next to the kitchen, a separate laundry and utility room contains full laundry facilities and a second refrigerator/freezer unit.
The master bedroom includes a double bed and a full en suite bathroom. Two French doors overlook a courtyard and offer lovely views of the horizon over Parisian rooftops. A second bedroom is equipped with a double bed, and a third bedroom has two single beds and a double futon bed. These two bedrooms share a bathroom with shower. Separate powder room with toilet and washbasin is located off the hallway.
This non-smoking apartment is stocked with quality towels and linens. Extra housekeeping service for the period of your stay can be pre-arranged. Trinité includes high-speed internet access, telephone, cable TV/VCR, and excellent central heating. Public parking available across the street.
Nearby Attractions
Once the realm of Paris' Romantic era artists and intellectuals, this sophisticated area has been "rediscovered" of late for its beautifully preserved Haussman-era architecture, hidden treasure museums, and great local bistros. Trinité is a short walk to the Galeries Lafayette and Printemps department stores, Opéra Garnier, and the ever charming Butte Montmartre. There is a grocery store across the street for basic necessities, and several good boulangeries within a few blocks.
The building is 200 yards to the Trinité-Estienne d'Orves metro station, on line 12 (Mairie d'Issy-Porte de la Chapelle) ; two stations on this line to Place de La Madeleine; five stations to Musée d'Orsay; seven stations to Saint-Germain des Prés. Bus line 68 goes to Le Louvre in 10 minutes and to St. Germain des Prés in 15 minutes.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Trinité apartment. The location was so convenient. We spent a considerable amount of time walking around the neighborhood as well as hanging out in the apartment, reading and listening to the bells from the nearby Trinité Church. We had a lovely week in Paris, and we can't wait to return. Thank you for your impeccable service.

The apartment's location was great. We were in an area with easy access to metro line 12 which made getting to sites very easy. We were also away from areas frequented only by tourists. A small grocery store across the street made getting necessities convenient, but we were close enough to Les Galeries Lafayette to get gourmet food items. The apartment afforded everyone breathing room because of its size, especially with 2.5 baths. The view of Sacré-Coeur from our balcony was superb. If one wants to truly live like a Parisian, this is the apartment to rent.

First of all we wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed your fabulous place. Absolutely gorgeous and comfortable and an awesome location. We made great use of the shops on Rue des Martyrs and the tapenade came from one of the shops on the left side about a thrid of the way up the hill, it sells mostly spreads and olive oil.
We did indeed have a wonderful tome perusing many of the shops and bistros in the area. This being the first time we had visited Paris, you can safely say we are fans now.
