Set high above the Lubéron countryside, this spacious, renovated 18th century farmhouse is located in a pastoral setting of orchards and woods, with panoramic views of the beautiful Lubéron valley and mountains.  With a variety of generous living spaces between the main house and the guest wing allowing for social time as well as quiet privacy, there is ample room and flexibility to accomodate a large group of adults or two families.  Lush plantings of grape vines, lavender, rosemary, olive and cypress trees adorn grounds replete with pleasant outdoor living spaces that blend seamlessly with the two houses, contributing to a sense of relaxed ease and independence particularly in summer months.  
 
Expansive living and dining rooms on the ground floor of the main house look towards the pool and open directly outside through large glass doors.  Simply and tastefully furnished, the house achieves a comforting natural aesthetic with warm colors,  jute carpeting and rustic ceiling beams.   Ancient stone walls offset the sloping contours of smooth stucco, as in the lovely spiral staircase.  

The bright, sunny kitchen on the ground floor, with tiled surfaces and a large kitchen island, is outfitted with all the basic equipment a competent chef might desire.    Up one flight of stairs is a mezzanine level with two bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed and its own en suite bathroom with walk-in shower.  Large windows and a minimum of clutter contribute to a feeling of spaciousness in the rooms.  A smaller study on this floor, with computer and fax, includes an extra single bed for a child or nanny.  The large family room on the top floor provides entertainment with a satellite TV/DVD player, i-pod station and piano.  The top floor master bedroom has two twin beds that may be put together to form a king, and its own bathroom with large soaking tub. 

In the separate guest wing there is a small sitting area, a dining room and galley kitchen plus two bedrooms, one with two twins that may be combined to form a king, one with a queen-sized bed.  Each bedroom has its own en suite bathroom with walk-in shower.  

Outdoors, the huge pool has an adjacent poolhouse with bbq and fridge for taking meals and apéritifs in the airy outdoor dining room.  The deck around the pool, looking our toward the rolling hills beneath the majestic Mont Ventoux, has a solar-heated shower and teak and wrought-iron furniture.  The beautifully tended lawn and gardens are fine for badminton, ping-pong and other games, and there is a trampoline for the kids (or kids at heart)!
