Description
This lovely single level home has spectacular, unobstructed views of the surrounding mountains and nearby Lac d’Annecy. French doors open to the terraces and gardens that surround the house and orchards cover the hillside below.
Inside, the open dining and living room has a fireplace, warm ochre colored walls, comfortable sitting area, and large dining table. The well equipped kitchen, facing east toward the morning sun and mountain views, includes an eating area, gas stove, and new refrigerator and dishwasher. Of the three bedrooms, all with new comfortable beds, two face the lake and open out to the garden. One has two twin beds and the other has a double. The third bedroom has a double bed and en suite bath with shower and washbasin. There is another complete bathroom and separate guest toilet. Stereo, phone and TV. Linens provided.
Nearby Attractions
Located in calm and peaceful surroundings, this property is also convenient to all the typical resort amenities. Less than a mile away you’ll find lakeside beaches, a bike path and the town center of St. Jorioz with its stores, restaurants and a weekly outdoor market. The town of Annecy, a five and a half mile drive away, is surrounded by snow capped mountains. It’s a charming place to shop and take in the local sites including the small medieval quarter with its canals, flower covered bridges, and covered arcades. Hiking, sailing, swimming, and parasailing are some of the many local activities.
