Description
This tasteful, modern apartment complex is centrally located near Nice's lovely Old Quarter. The apartment, approximately 430 sq. ft., is on the courtyard level of the building, on the fourth floor above the parking garage.
The open living area of this cozy apartment includes sitting and dining areas with cheerful white painted furniture and blue upholstery. There is a sofa bed, round dining table seating four, several occasional tables and chairs, telephone, TV, and stereo with CD player. The compact kitchenette includes a large refrigerator, electric cook top, and combination microwave/broiler. French doors open to the L-shaped balcony overlooking the private courtyard, making it a pleasant place to enjoy meals outdoors. Combination washer/dryer. Safe with programmable code.
The bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed. There is also a foldout twin bed available for extra guests. White tiled bathroom has tub with wall mounted shower and sink. Separate toilet room. Hair dryer provided.
Nearby Attractions
Located steps away from the vibrant historic section of Old Nice where you can enjoy the colorful Italianate and Belle Époque architecture and the lively outdoor market, Marché aux Fleurs, with its wide selection of tasty regional cuisine, produce, flowers and antiques. On Mondays enjoy a flea market instead. Also nearby are the gardens and parks of the hill still known as the Chateau for the castle that once stood there. Explore the many museums that Nice offers, including the Modern Art Museum, the Matisse Museum, and the Chagall Museum. Cross the border into Italy and experience the great markets in San Reno, Bordighera, and Ventimiglia where vendors ofer everything from fresh-roasted chestnuts to luxury furs, cashmere, and designer knock-offs.
