Perched above the Atlantic Ocean with a 180° view of crystalline Audierne Bay, this bright and airy home welcomes up to ten guests for a seaside retreat beyond compare. Designed using principles of traditional Breton architecture, Baie d'Audierne has been impeccably updated with all the comforts and conveniences of home.

On the ground floor, you'll be drawn into the living room by sweeping views of Audierne Bay. The room is furnished with cozy sofas, armchairs, a working fireplace, telescope, satellite TV, DVD and CD player. French doors between the living and dining areas invite sea breezes to waft throughout the house, and offer access to the south-facing patio, fully equipped for al fresco dining. Across from the dining room, the gourmet open kitchen includes a four burner gas range with stainless steel vent, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. A hallway off the kitchen and main living area has a powder room and leads to the master bedroom suite with double bed and en suite shower room.

From the hall, a stairwell leads to the four bedrooms on the second floor. The largest has a balcony with spectacular view of the bay, double bed and large en-suite shower room. The other three bedrooms have two twin beds each and a shared bathroom with tub and shower, convenient to all three. In the basement are a garage and a utility room with washing machine/dryer, ironing equipment and freezer.

Outdoors, the sprawling grassy yard provides space for children to play and adults to barbecue and entertain. From here there is easy access to footpaths that lead to unspoiled white sand beaches, a fifteen minute walk away.

Footpaths from the house lead to the quaint fishing harbor and megaliths of Pors Poulhan. Ten minute drive to the charming port of Audierne with its open air Saturday market, great seafood restaurants and a terrific aquarium. In the larger town of Plouhinec, a mile south of Tyarbrug, you can find shops, bakeries, and all the necessities. The nearby city of  Quimper features  traditional half-timbered houses, a gorgeous gothic cathedral, and rustic footbridges over the three rivers that run through it.
