This distinguished two-bedroom apartment has recently undergone a detailed renovation.  Painted a soft yellow, Rue du Bac is warm and inviting, with traditional beamed ceilings and parquet floors throughout. The location couldn't be better: on a side street tucked away just off the intersection of Rue du Bac, Boulevard Raspail and Boulevard St. Germain.

The fourth floor unit can be reached by elevator or stairs and consists of a spacious living room, separate kitchen, and two independent bedrooms with ensuite full baths. Windows look out to Rue Paul Louis Courier and the classic rooftops of Haussman's Paris. Furnishings, mostly high quality antiques, include a writing desk, comfortable sofa, small round table and upholstered dining chairs. Built-in bookshelves and a fine selection of prints and paintings line the walls. Flat screen television with cable, wifi internet and a phone with free calls to the US is available.

The newly updated kitchen is accessed off the living room through French doors. A combination of sleek black cabinetry and stainless steel surfaces create a clean, modern space. Equipment includes a flat-top induction stove, full oven, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher and a good selection of cooking utensils and small appliances.

The two bedrooms are accessed through French doors from either end of the main living area. On the far end is the larger of the two, furnished with two single beds, elegant bedside tables and a small writing desk beside a window. En-suite bath includes a marble bathtub, sink and toilet. Walk-in closet.

Next to the apartment entry is the smaller single bedroom, furnished with an antique sleigh bed with a large twin mattress.
En-suite bath has a marble shower, sink and toilet.
A washing machine and air dry line are located in a utility closet outside the apartment.

General Location Map

This apartment is comfortable with nice furnishings in an ideal location. Our host Vincent was wonderful. He met us upon arrival at the apartment and immediately made us feel at home. Vincent let us know that if any problems would arise he would be there to help which was very reassuring. Jennie B. Everett, WA. June 2017

Great apartment in a terrific location - 10 minute walk to the Orsay Museum. All kinds of great shops and restaurants just as close or closer. This was our third stay with France: Homestyle and we were not disappointed. Their knowledgeable, attentive staff thinks of everything and is very accommodating to make sure your stay is no less than wonderful! Janice P. Tucson, AZ. June 2015

This was a great apartment, perfect for seeing the sites. Securing a taxi for us to the airport was an extra plus. Rick Steve did not disappoint and I will be recommending you to all. Thanks so much for a great France experience. Debra, K, New Rochelle, NY. July 14

This was a fantastic experience. We tried to be as Parisians as possible for the time that we were there. We shopped in our neighborhood, met the merchants, walked a lot, cooked a lot. Sega with MCP picked us up at Gare de Lyon, & returned us there when we left Paris & he was fabulous. Our greeter was super & very helpful. Just a teeny bit of critism: being a cook, I found the kitchen a bit sparse regarding utensils, but I managed. We'll definitely be back in this apartment. Ronald B. GA. May 2013

The apartment and its location is perfect. We loved everything about it. We will be coming back. Our only comment would be regarding the one bathroom with the tub, it needs a shower curtain that stays up. Everyone was very kind and helpful. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and at home in Paris. We are already planning our next visit! LeiAnne J.AZ. Sept 2013
