This sumptuous 17th century château is an unforgettable retreat for large groups, family gatherings, weddings, and special events. Uniquely located just thirty-five minutes northwest of Paris, the château has been impeccably restored to its original splendor. Situated on more than 185 acres, the classically landscaped grounds were designed by Le Notre, who also designed the landscaping for Versailles during the same time period. The incredible gardens include two lakes filled with a variety of waterfowl, a forest, a small river, a spectacular water cascade and fountain, large expanse of lawns, and meadows. Both private and serene, the grounds provide not only beauty, but also many outdoor activities for guests, including jogging, biking, hunting, swimming in the sparkling pool, and tennis on the newly built court. There are numerous outbuildings including a spacious chapel with adjacent reception room, horse stable and greenhouse.

The château itself is an amazing example of elegance and authentic historic detailing. It was originally designed by Hardouin-Mansart, the architect of Versailles, who created the same magnificence on a smaller scale at Villette. The sumptuous, formal yet comfortable, octagonal salon has an elegant white, blue and gold décor. The elegant dining room has the original 17th century carved stone buffet and magnificent wainscoting. All the main rooms have quality parquet floors with elegant Oriental carpets and unique, elaborate full height wainscoting. The professional gourmet kitchen was completely remodeled in 2001 with top of the line Hobart commercial appliances. In addition, there are two service kitchens, a gym, authentic wood paneled library, a billiard room and a banquet room. The state-of-the-art telephone system and wireless internet is accessible from every room.

From the impressive limestone entry hall, there is a magnificent curving stone staircase, complete with large hanging tapestry and ornate wrought iron railing that leads to the elegant bedrooms and baths on the upper floor. All eighteen bedrooms have been beautifully remodeled with antique mirrors and chandeliers, each with a private en-suite bathroom that was remodeled with tasteful elegance in 1999-2000.
