This two hundred-year old stone house is wonderful for family gatherings.  Located at the edge of the Camargue region between the sunny, lively towns of Nîmes and Montpellier, the property is close enough to the major highways to be a convenient distance to the best of Provence, but far enough away to be remain private and quiet.   Timeworn stone walls, rustique antiques and a nice collection of artwork add to the charm of this comfortable and well priced vacation home.

The house is just off a tiny road next to the town square.  Inside, the spacious living room, facing the garden, has the original exposed stone walls, terracotta tile floor, high ceilings, large stone fireplace, piano, comfortable sofa, and several occasional chairs. A separate dining room seats up to ten guests. Off the dining room, the cozy well-equipped kitchen features wood cabinets, tiled floor, dishwasher, new oven and range. From the kitchen one can access the peaceful garden terrace, shaded by flowering wisteria during the summer.  The summer kitchen includes a barbecue area with a table and four chairs and a separate WC beside the pool.  In the garage you will find a washer and automatic dryer.

From the downstairs livingroom, an open, curved staircase leads to the second floor with master bedroom suite.  This room is furnished with a double bed and an adjoining room with a cozy entertainment area with TV, CD, DVD, sofa bed and futon. There is also a small ensuite study. Of the other three bedrooms, one is well suited to children, with two single beds, and the others have a double bed each. Of the two full baths located at either end of the upstairs hallway, the largest one is beautifully tiled, with hardwood floors, claw foot tub, sink, and bidet. The other one has a deep sitting tub with hand-held shower, sink and toilet.
